The village of Rubery is easily reached from Birmingham by following the A38 past Longbridge. If you are coming this way you may stay on the by-pass to exit just before the bridge across the road (see map below)
From Rubery Centre (New Road)
Drive South along New Road (uphill) until you see the British Legion club on the left. Take next left-hand turn and immediately right at a T junction into Whetty Lane. Follow this road just a few hundred yards where it becomes Whettybridge Road. You will cross a bridge over the A38. Once over you will see a narrow lane on the left which is Holywell Lane. Rubery Community and Leisure Centre is less than 50 yards along on the left and our club is in the main hall (Please park considerately, it is a small car park and we need to squeeze as many cars in as possible)
If you are coming from Redditch, Bromsgrove and all points south you should head for junction 4 of the M5 at Lydiate Ash. From there follow the A38 towards Birmingham. In approximately 1 mile you will pass under a bridge, take the next exit from this dual carriageway into Gannow Road, then left at the roundabout into School Road - then first right after the school.
Below is a hand drawn map, but a better map is available on the link below that.
